In this Intro to Book Binding workshop, we will cover the basics of the Pamphlet stitch, hand stitching a beginner book using all recycled materials, including a leather cover! All supplies are provided.

(with a 15-20 Minute Lunch Break, bring your own lunch)

Supplies Provided: Waxed Linen thread, paper, scrap leather cover, Instructions and Templates provided.
Tools to share-provided include: Scissors, paper, needles, awl, clips, etc.

Hosted at Observable Universe in Ample Storage in North Durham (Just beyond the intersection of E. Club and N. Roxboro). The Swamp Witch Pop-up Shop is open for shopping during workshop hours.

Cancellation Policy: Attendees must sign up by the day before the lesson. 2 people must be signed up by the day before, if only one person is signed up- workshop is subject to cancellation (signup with a friend!). Instructor reserves the right to cancel or postpone workshops for personal reasons. Students will be notified via email of any cancellations. If the workshop is canceled, students will receive a full refund in 4-5 business days.
