Raleigh Denim Private Label Work Fall 2020

2020 brought many changes to my creative practice. I took on more private label work than every before! In the Summer and Fall of 2020 I dyed Cotton Jeans and Sweat Shirts for Raleigh Denim Workshop. These photos were taken on the day I started this commission by Shay Stifelman, and I got them off instagram. After this photo shoot, I worked on dyeing these items for weeks. The fabric soaked up the Indigo dye more than I had anticipated and I had to make multiple extra batches. Victor, of Raleigh Denim, wanted a solid, dark dark blue- which is impossible to achieve in the small batch process I do, but I did my best of provide the client with the solid blue they wanted in this collection! It was a challenge and I learned a lot from this gig.
