Join River sewing one of her favorite uniform pieces, the McCall’s pattern M#7969. River has made this pattern as a dress 4 times AND as a top 4 times! It’s a tried and true staple- great for any season depending on what fabric you use, and is loose - so is great for a ever changing body.

M#7969 paper pattern is included in class fee.

This is a 3 week series- meeting on Tuesdays, May 16th, 23rd, 30th. Attendees must attend all sessions to complete the garment variation of your choice.

Skills we will cover:
-Picking the correct size for your garment and cutting out your paper pattern
-Gathering fabric for puff sleeve and skirt
-Inseam Pockets
-Bias Tape edge finishing
-Hemming

What you need to bring:
-3-3.5 yards of fabric* (depends on what size)
*fabric needs to be washed and dried (preshrunk) and brought to the first lesson on May 16th.
-Your sewing machine (2 sewing machines available for workshop rental)
