Learn to create designs on fabric using stitch-resist techniques and indigo dye! Instructor River Takada will cover the history and methods of indigo dyeing and traditional Japanese shibori using hand-stitching. All materials are provided.
Students will be provided with a yard of cotton lawn, needles, thread, and access to the shared indigo dye bucket, and may bring a few small additional items to dye.
This is a one session class, but you are welcome to attend more than once!
