In this workshop, we will work on what’s possible with the beginning skills of sewing including: straight line stitching, working with woven fabric, installing zippers, making accessories, home goods, quilts, or simple boxy garments.  There will be an introduction to materials and equipment, as well as how to thread the machine and what all the knobs are for.

Totes & Beyond w/ River Takada-Capel

We have machines in the classroom, but feel free to bring your own functional sewing machine and sharp fabric scissors to the class with you.
