In this workshop, we will work on what's possible with the beginning skills of sewing including: straight line stitching, working with woven fabric and making home goods.  There will be an introduction to materials and equipment, how to thread the machine, wind a bobbin and what all the knobs are for.

Hosted at River's Durham Studio (address sent with confirmation email)
Students are encouraged to bring their own machine.
Please select w/rental (+$5) if you would like to barrow a sewing machine.
